About me

Hello! I’m Amillia, and I appreciate you visiting my blog.

My passion for cooking began in a small, peaceful town in America, where the vast, open skies seemed to stretch forever.

As an only child, I spent much of my time at my grandma’s house next door. Her home was always warm and inviting, surrounded by a garden overflowing with vibrant flowers and fresh fruits.

She had a deep love for her garden, especially her tomatoes, herbs, and strawberries. Those strawberries were my favorite—sweet, juicy, and full of summer’s essence. They’re the reason I still cherish cooking with fresh ingredients today.

Grandma’s kitchen was pure magic. She had an incredible gift for turning the simplest ingredients into something extraordinary. People from all around would come to savor her creations—whether it was a freshly baked pie, cookies, or just the warmth of her smile and a comforting hug.

As a child, I would watch her cook, dreaming of one day being just like her. By the time I turned 18, I found myself spending more and more time in the kitchen, eager to make her proud. Those moments with her taught me that cooking was about so much more than just food—it was about bringing people together.

Now at 62, even though my grandma is no longer with us, I continue to cook in her memory. This blog is my way of honoring her legacy and sharing the love and joy she passed down to me.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you can find me sipping coffee and brainstorming new recipes—many of which, of course, feature strawberries! I truly hope my recipes bring a little warmth and happiness to your kitchen.

Thank you for joining me on this journey! I’m so glad to have you here, and I hope you enjoy every recipe and story along the way. Happy cooking!
